the past

So, while looking at houses online, I see a house for sale in my old neighborhood in FL. For the heck of it, I checked on my old house. It is painted a color I like now and not what my late bf painted it. Before I moved, he put in a new kitchen. They painted the brand-new cabinets white !!!! The materials he left to finish off one of the bedrooms was used. The original shrubbery was there on the first picture of it. Then it looked all over-grown in another picture. I remember how hard we worked on the palm tree in front of it, the bricks based and painted and our beautiful begonias that we planted. We actually bought the house for 10 thousand. It is now 84 thousand ! I sat there and cried seeing it again. Just started thinking about all I walked away from there ! And the loss of a real man ! He was far from perfect, but I always knew who he was. He was a p.i.t.a., but we loved each other. I miss him dancing and singing around the house. I miss our fur babies we had. The have all passed away now.

Star my friend, never doubt yourself.
Life decisions are always RIGHT at the time we make them.

The reason I walked away was because I was going to be a grandma for the first and only time. The only regret I have is not being able to afford to maintain 2 places. It would have made a nice rental for events and a vacation place. About 5/10 mins away from Nascar and the beach. 45 mins from Disneyworld

I REMEMBER THE BIG HOUSE AND GARDENS I HAD WHEN YOUNG, VERY LOVELY AND WHATNOT AND HAVE HAD TO SETTLE FOR MUCH LESS HERE. BUT I AM STILL GLAD I MADE THE CHOICES I DID AND AM HAPPY WITH MUCH LESS THAN I HAD THEN. LIFE GOES ON AFTER ALL.

Everyone has flaws, even the devil, as perfection is unattainable. Our Creator designed life this way for a reason. Please forgive me if my perspective seems mistaken.

As we age, the sensible thing to do is cut back on less needed stuff whatever it may be.
I am getting there.
two weeks ago, I sold $795.00 worth of stuff in a garage sale. LOL

Rather than linger I want to die happy when driving my tractor. LOL

Many years ago, I bought the fabulous big house. The only thing I ever saw that I was willing to pay EXTRA for. After 2 years I unloaded that albatross, and the wife went along with it. LOL

There are times when you get what you wanted for years and after you have it-----
you may wish you didn't.

Memories.... sometimes, they trickle down our cheeks.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Memories can bring so much joy and pain at the same time.
