Complicated !!!!!! Y r men so complicated ? Let's start with politics, just for the heck of it ! Abortion for instance... I think abortion is not good. A governor said, "women should keep their dresses down" ! I mean, REALLY ?!!!!! What about guys keeping their zippers up ? Like it's ok for them to hit and run, not pay for a responsibility put upon a woman. And who asks to be violated ???? There r other options besides abortion, but in certain circumstances it might be necessary. Not to be decided by a politician, but by a doctor. Now moving on ! I am going on 70 years old ! Trying to understand a man is too hard to do ! I feel like no matter what U do, U can't please them. If U say it's a nice day out, they set their mind to that one freakin cloud in the sky ! U make a romantic dinner for them...it's either off with their friends or watching sports. If U try to sit and watch sports with them... it's can we talk about this later, I'm relaxing ? Sometimes we realize that everyday life is rough, and U tell them go and have a good time. They think U don't care. I have a friend that said that a guy I dated was perfect for me because she met him. He was a nice guy, don't get me wrong. But there are very few men that understand my needs for once. I gave my heart to someone. I'm tired of making people happy, and getting hit in the heart with a curve ball !  This is Y I choose not to get in a relationship again. Sorry I'm venting ! Understanding will go a long way ! |

my dear friend. yu write how i feel with one small change. replace men with ladies and it is spot on. i stopped dating over 5 years ago for same things u feeel. save i feel same about ladies. i have lost tons of money, many piece of my heart and got what?? a used and cheated on person. i choose to be alone now. oh i dont have isseus wth ladies at all. just i used up my dancew tickets THE DAYS WILL END ... TIME WILL BE ETERNAL

There is an old saying that third time is charmed, but since I had two wonderful marriages, I don't want to try for a third one, it might be cursed. In fact, I didn't want a second one, just a friend. I saw too many of my coworkers get into relationships that ended in pain and turmoil, and I just wasn't interested in that. But in meeting Joe, the Lord gave me more than I could have hoped or imagined. I'm just now settling into a peace at being alone. In face, this evening I was just saying how much at peace I feel. Occasional companionship, like Dutch treat, might be enjoyable, but I'm not looking for it. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I had one long good happy marriage, and i am more than grateful for that. I have no interest looking for a new partner, at this stage of my life. Maybe if i were younger, who knows. I have good friends and family that keep me busy and content. I enjoy my life just as it is . Star, sending positive thoughts good wishes your way.

Living by the rule that you are required to please another person is not the key to happiness. The joy in life comes in being YOU. The right partner knows that and is not demanding.

Big hugs. It is a growing trend to stay single. It is quite ok. I always have my running shoes on.
