 I was just chatting with my gal pal in Thunder Bay and she said that the winds off the lake were wicked today..... Sure wouldn't have wanted to be on one of those grain carriers!!

 HOW WELL I REMEMBER THE SHIPS PRETTY FAR FROM SHORE ON LAKE SUPERIOR WAY BACK IN THE LATE 1950's. I ALSO REMEMBER SWIMMING IN THE COLD WATER, ACTUALLY SWIMMING, NOT JUST WADING. I MUST HAVE BEEN NUTS.

 The winds have been pretty strong here in central IL, so I can only imagine what it must be light for those ships on the lake.
I remember going to ride the excursion boats at Navy Pier one time, and we could not venture out of the walled harbor because of the winds.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
