If a tree falls....

After countless quotes for between 3 and 4K to re.ove a trecherous tree. Two retired tree cutters gave an estimate of $500. Once the job was done and cleanup finished, they asked $450. They said it didn't take that long. They did an awesome job. They had safety gear and ropes that helped them navigate the tree. It was totally amazing to watch!

Those logs can make some nice "round slabs" for wood projects too.

I did give them plenty to pick their local lunch/dinner spot. Also, they sliced some of the big pieces just for projects. They also picked up another job today, they were very happy 😊

They did amazing. The inside of the house is so much lighter. I need to research a full sun garden of the front beds though.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

A young man was electrocuted while trimming a tree here recently.
They don't know it he touched the power line with the pole saw or if it just arced from the line.

Your picture depicts the danger.

These guys had to work around the power line and cable lines, it was a nailbiter for me, but they were calm as cucumbers. They used a sling shot and a bean bag to got a rope over lines and pull them out of the way. I was very impressed.

Job well done at a keen price too. Yes, I can see the man working away in the tree.

Glad you were able to get done what you needed, and at such a wonderful price. I had a large tree taken down last fall and it cost me $1,300, but when they were done and had hauled everything away, the only reminder I had that a tree had stood there was a low stump. This spring, I decided I really wasn't going to do anything with it, and had it ground down below the surface, and covered with dirt, so that was another $150. I thought I had gotten a really good deal too, but no where near the bargain you got!
