Road Trip!

School is out and we went tripping. We drove to Grand Marais, MI. What a cute resort town! We did a little exploring in the face of cold winter like gusts. We took a peek in little shops and even stopped a the farmers market after dinner, what a treat.Tomorrow's breakfast, blueberry jam. 😋

Oh, pooh. When you mentioned MI, I got excited because I am planning a road trip to visit my daughter in northern IN sometime this summer. Michianared lives just over the state line, so I am hoping to get to visit her and her husband.
I've not seen them for several years.
But then I looked for where you live and it is far, far, north. Oh well. There are others I would like to meet in person, but "east is east and west is west, and never the twain shall meet."

Sounds like great FUN!!

There's a Grand Marais in Minnesota and only about an hour away from where I am.

Sounds like a really good days outing. I love visiting little quaint towns and exploring. Tasty looking bread and jam too.

The lady at the farmers market is quite the cook, she made perfect ginger snap cookies. Those did not make it home for a photo though.

IT SOUNDS LIKE A NICE TRIP. I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF MY TRIPS TO MICHIGAN. I AM LEAVING FOR 5 DAYS ON MONDAY BUT EXPECT IT TO BE MUCH WARMER THAN MICHIGAN. ANYHOW I SURE HOPE SO.
