The view from my window today Are we still doing “view from my window today” photography? Here are a couple of photos from my window. Well, it's my car window and not the window of my home but that counts, right?!  When I need a little break my favorite thing to do is drive to one of the local beaches. Many, like the one I drove to today, have beach views from the parking lot. I took these photos from my car. My driver's side window had a close up view of bees buzzing around wildflowers. And the view through the windshield is of Cape Cod Bay. It was very peaceful with crickets chirping and people fishing. My kind of morning!    A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea! |

Ahhh..... There's something about water that's calming, isn't there~~~ I have a spot half way up a mountain that I frequently stop at which overlooks a beautiful valley vista and a long stretch of what I guess would be called finger lakes left after the glaciers receded. I close my eyes, and exhale~~

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My daughter keeps telling me that I should get out and drive around, maybe down to the lake, just for a change of scenery and relaxation. I just never have done it, yet..... but life isn't over, so maybe one of these days I will. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I agree .. sometimes you don't need a destination. Just getting out of the house and driving can be relaxing if there's nice scenery along the way. That's great about the late blooming hydrangeas! It was a good year for hydrangeas on Cape Cod. They were everywhere but bloomed very early in the season here. A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

You are very fortunate to be living in such a wonderful place. I could not live in that area. I would be fishing every day and never get anything done. LOL I would like to scoot boots to some of that northern dance music. Dance On Pearls!
