I run a monthly group called "Just Blokes" with a few others who have come on board. We each have to speak to a group of between 17 to 32 attendees. Our Christmas party has 120 - 130 people each year where the men can bring their families to see what we get up to. Some of the wives love it, they said it gives them some free time away from their husbands. lol

It's free for those who come, I bear cost of the hall rental, liability insurance, drinks and the cost of food when it's my turn to cook. We have a structure where some 'meet and greet' at the door, open with a short prayer, announcements, then people just chat for a bit and we have drinks and a meal prepared for them. We have a show and tell/boys and toys segment about hobbies, interests, whatever you are into and want to share. Then a shott gospel message and perhaps a visiting speaker or it's one of us sharing what we come across at work etc. Not long ago we had some solicitors come and speak to the group on legal matters. I thought that might not go down so well but it was a huge success, the questions were very interesting.

Tonight it's my turn to M.C. and guide the meeting, it's great training for public speaking and it keeps me in practice for anything impromptu.

Wishing you all the best for your channel. I've seen channels where when they laugh at their mistakes and include them, it makes it more fun (hope you don't make too many though). I'll look forward to seeing it, especially the bikes ...... you will be doing stuff on bikes wont you?

Enjoy the learning curve

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
