I'm a thinking, feeling, hard working woman who can survive on my own. But, I prefer to think the Lord will have someone for me to share my life with at some point again. I do every thing in my life to the utmost. I will try almost anything once (within reason & safety). I have a bit of a thrill seeker side. I'm a perpetual learner. Although my friends all think I'm a very strong woman, I long for the closeness of someone special to share my life and dreams and hopes with. I hope to be able to travel, and explore the world around us, whether through travel or just hiking in a woods, planting a tree, watching wildlife, playing with my dogs, or loving my grown boys. I love people and children and critters (owned quite a variety raising 3 boys). I love having fun and laughing with friends around me. I can dress up and merge into the role of a special night out but prefer to be down home, barefoot and in jeans. I love trees and mountains and soft grass and the stars at night. I want to whale watch, raft the Grand Canyon, and take a barefoot cruise. I'm quite adventuresome.
My Ideal Person:
Since I am a respector of the truth, I want someone who is honest and sincere. You must be able to have fun. You need to be kind and tender and endearing without being wimpy. No momma's boy. But, also no Mr. super Macho. I want a man comfortable in his own skin. Please be someone who is comfortable with himself and being a part of the world around him. I prefer a non-smoker as I am a long term nurse but don't prefer being a nurse maid any too soon. An occasional glass of wine with a great meal or in front of a winter fireplace is OK. I prefer someone who is financially stable so that we can share what we both have to bring to a relationship. I prefer some one with the ability to think for himself without always having to be 'right'. I like a man who will talk with me, not at me or to me. Eventually, I want a caring, tender partner. I prefer a man who knows the Lord and can be the spiritual leader of a home. Respected and respectful. I want someone who knows that 4 walls might make a house, but they don't make a home. I want someone who will consider me the missing part of himself that he has been hunting for. And together we make each other better and stronger and wiser. I want my best friend.
