I'm newly retired and rewiring myself for a life of "being" and not so much "doing." I love to smile, laugh, and appreciate the small things---hummingbirds on my deck, deer in the field behind my condo---but I do love the big things too such as the theatre (loved Menopause, the Musical), symphony, gourmet dining, a fine wine ( merlot, Shiraz, champagne), trips to interesting spots such as Saint Paul to see Prairie Home Companion live; Estes Park, Colorado, to attend a meditation retreat; or Prescott, Arizona, to visit my cousin's cabins among the Ponderosa pines. You might find me lifting free weights at my Results class, writing in my journal, making pesto from home-grown basil, popping a pan of blueberry muffins into the oven, seeing the latest Oscar -buzz movie, watching Gilmore Girls, with my son, or listening to Garrison Keillor on NPR Saturday night. I usually have four or five books stacked by my bed (fiction and non-fiction), dipping into whatever calls me at the moment. I am an energetic, eclectic woman, complex and fabulous with a smile that lights up a room and a voice that mesmerizes (so I've been told). I am both earthy and ethereal, sensitive and sensuous and faithful to the man who wins my devotion.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a professional, educated man who shares some of the same interests, goals, values---is appreciative of life and wants to share it with a trusted sweetheart. I want an affectionate man, capable of long-term commitment, willing to work at winning my heart, and devoting himself to one woman for the rest of his life.
