Wow! I am "just me." It is difficult for me to describe myself - Bright, creative, sensous, eclectic and fun - interested in many things. I am a woman, a mother, grandmother, and career woman, getting ready to retire. A kid at heart, excited about life in general and learning new things. Ready to explore all those aspects of life that were put on hold due to a career. I value integrity, honesty, and family. My friends say that I am sometimes off the wall, a little naive, a good listener, loyal, and see the silver lining, even on the darkest days. Yea, an optomist. Love to dance. I believe that laughter is the medicine of the soul. I am a musician who sings and plays the piano. I have a deep faith that has seen me through some rough times, with me on the mountain tops, and generally guides the steps of my way. The spiritual facet of my life is very important to me, and am looking for someone who feels the same.
My Ideal Person:
Open, honest communications is the key to any realtionship (friend or lover)...Looking for a good comminicator, who is gentle, caring, fun loving, intelligent, literate and enjoys the beauty of "just being." Needs to be at "home" in concerts, fine restaurants, as well as on a back road, on the beach or river, and likes to travel. I like going out on dates, being with others, talking, but I am interested in a long term relationship. I want to find some one who is willing to take it slow enough for a true friendship to develop, know that the chemistry is right...then determine if we could walk the road of life together. Some one who enjoys all kinds of music, classical through contry - playing a musical instrument would be a definite plus. No hidden agendas, no escaping "where they are", no baggage from the past or present. Looking for someone to be friend first and foremost. If the friendship deepens - all the better. Not a prude by a long shot, but not into egotists, moodiness, crass, or crude. Atheist, agnostic, married or seperated with strings still attached need not respond.
