I've had a wonderful, interesting life so far. I'm looking for someone to stumble with me through the rest of it. I'm an affectionate, happy, sensual, open minded, bright, shy, disorganized, creative 64 year old woman. I'm a long time ethical vegetarian, but not a crusader. I'm an avid lover of all life's wonders - even an occasional spectator sport. I'm a great planner who lives impulsively. I love my garden full of bugs, my study full of books, my crumbly old house, tent camping, learning anything, traveling anywhere, tragically romantic movies, novels of Michener, the poems of Sandra Cisneros, Leonard Cohen songs. Some of my FANTASIES are to write a best seller, fix my house, paint a masterpiece, live off the grid, walk the Appalachian Trail, visit Madagascar, ride cross country on the back of a motorcycle, win the lottery, find the man of my dreams. Some of my GOALS are to restore and renovate my house, learn everything, go everywhere, find a new career, find the man of my dreams.
PS: Like many other Floridians, I lost my house to a recent hurricane. That means that there are a lot of new and different opportunities available. I'd love to find someone who would like to restart with me.
The first photo is current - made a few days after Charley hit. The others are about five years old. Not much has changed except that those clothes went with the storm, my hair is now a wonderful natural white, and I have a few more wrinkles.

I'm looking for a loving, exclusive relationship with a man who loves the outdoors and is casual, intelligent, active, open minded, forward looking, creative, gentle, romantic, non smothering, nonsmoking. If you are a vegetarian, a comedian and/or a handyman, that's great. If not, write me and tell me what you are.
Favorite films:
Out of Africa, Cabaret, Bull Durham, The Perez Family. Dogville may become a new favorite.
