I am a very active person. I love to hike, bike on the trails, dance, dine in nice restaurants, go to concerts and plays, workout at the gym and read. Most of my friends would say that I have an easy going personality. I have opinions about many things that I am willing to discuss, but my friends and I often agree to disagree. I do not have children, but love my nieces and nephews and their children. This year my great nephew who is going to Law School is living with me and my dog, Buddy. Retired from full time teaching, I work part time as an instructor for the University of Missouri on line Master's program. I love to travel and went with family to Belize at Thanksgiving. Next Spring I am heading to Japan for two weeks to visit. When I am at home, I like to sing, listen to Jazz, music from the 60's and 70's,and light classical music by artists like Josh Groban. I also enjoy Garth Brooks. I am really into fitness. I swim 3 mornings a week, go to the gym daily and ride my bike 2-3 times a week. I am preparing for the Show Me Games Triathlon in July. I also like to watch Cardinals baseball, MU Football and most track events.
My Ideal Person:
I am interested in someone who wants to take it somewhat slow in developing a relationship. I like meeting new people, but the real reason that I am on this site is to develop a loving long term relationship (possible marriage) with a warm, loving and funny guy. This would be a person who likes to laugh, talk and do things. This person would not need to do triathlons with me, but would support me in my endeavors and sore muscles and would enjoy doing some of the training activities with me. I'm not adverse to sitting and watching TV, but I would rather be with someone who likes to travel, go out for a romantic dinner, dance, take a hike, paddle a canoe, enjoy a concert or play, go fishing, or just watch the sunset at the end of a long walk.
Favorite films:
Sleepless in Seattle, Shall We Dance
Favorite musicians or bands:
Del Alma, Josh Groban
