Romantic at heart. I love life and the beauty that I see each and everyday. I am honest, trustworthy and very loving. I feel secure with myself and I surround myself with laughter and love. I would love to share my life with someone who would like me to be a part of his life. My family is important to my life. My father is still living and will be 86 this year and my sister and her family are all in Iowa. I have one son and two beautiful granddaughters that live here in Texas. I have lived and spent time in Iowa, Florida, Colorado, Bend, Oregon, and Texas. I enjoy and love traveling for experiencing other cultures and people is what life is about. I have done many things in my life, but I have retired as a teacher after 35 years in the classroom. I am still active working with children and love what I do. I fill my life with many things such as reading, being outdoors, gardening-flowers, knitting, and studying. Life is an exquisite gift that should be filled with love, joy, and peace of heart. Having someone in my life would be part of that wonderful gift. Age means nothing, but what you have in your heart and soul is what you truly are about. Everyone has experienced sorrow in their life and if you haven't then you may not be experiencing life at all, but take that sorrow and turn it into something positive. I am who I am because of what I have either chosen in my life or have done with my life, but I honestly can say I love who I am and where I am today.
My Ideal Person:
I am a very strong person and I need someone equally strong. Someone who believes in himself and who enjoys my company and wants to share his life with me. Someone who is honest and trustworthy and loves life. I love to laugh and enjoy life.
