I am a free-lance photographer and artist. I hike regularly, read widely, and love road trips as well as international travel, camping (but I have retired from air mattresses on the floor of a tent) as well as upscale accommodations. I am a really good traveling companion, by foot, car, air or boat. My friends see me as good-natured, accepting, light-hearted and good company. My closest friends are artists, writers, thinkers, liberals and other nuts. I believe “there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in our philosophy,“ with apologies to the Bard. Okay, I love Shakespeare, theater, opera, the tenors, Bach, bluegrass and country music, not to mention some lowbrow stuff. I restore my soul by going to the mountains for long walks. I brag too much about my dog, but she deserves it . Does this sound like Boulder or what? (Except for the country music part, but I grew up in Illinois in a time when country was cool.)
My Ideal Person:
Life is more fun with a companion, someone with a sense of humor, a conversationalist who can make us both laugh; one who loves the mountains, the theater and movies, going out for dinner or staying home and cooking up something great; someone who is in touch with his spiritual side, or at least is accepting of mine. Being a savvy traveling companion is a huge plus.
