I was born and raised in north Louisiana. And, yes, we are also good cooks. I am intelligent and can carry on a conversation about almost everything even though I wasn't a "student". I didn't like the confinment. Seems my mind was always wandering about this and that. I had my schooling the real way; living life. When I got the call for a job with Delta Air Lines, I turned in my books and was outa there with no regrets. It was my dream and I lived it with gusto! Although, I have had this desire to be an attorney and help people.

My family was very social and most of those things have remained with me. The outside changes; the inside rarely does. I am lovely on the inside and out! I am also sassy, flirty and comfy. Hardly ever at a loss for words or meet a stranger. I may not always remember your name, but I never forget a face. People who know me say it and I agree! Although I have to admit I am a bit shy in a large gathering. But, once I find my comfort zone, watch out..lol

I've lived in TN, MS, TX, CA, GA, FL, and NH. The only speeding ticket I've received was in Nebraska and if it hadn't been so far away, I'd of gone back to court because I wasn't speeding!! I've traveled to most of the 50 states, Jamaica, Bahamas, Grand Bahams, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and France. And, I sincerely hope my travels aren't over yet! I've traveled by car, bus, train and plane and am a good traveler.

During my working years (which weren't very many) I was an executive assistant or office manager. I love the people contact afforded me in these positions. And, I miss it. But, other medical issues with family took up most of my time. Seems I was always having to catch a quick flight to somewhere for someone. Family is family and we do what we can to help them is the way I was taught and I feel til this day. I'm just a very caring, nuturing lady. It wasn't duty, it was done out of love! And, the same goes for my friends as we have our ups and downs in life. Some call these things baggage. I call them living life. No one has had a perfect life. It's how we deal with these things that strengthens us and makes us who we are in my opinion. So, when one says they want one who has NO baggage, I guess they mean one who hasn't lived life. And, I have lived life! The past is the past..some good, some bad. We have to deal with the cards given us and then move on, right??

Spending most of my adult live caregiving one family member or another, I feel I have missed out on many things. I love to laugh and haven't done near enough of it lately! And, this distance thing...forget about it because it really means nothing if you have a computer and phone to start. Distance is only as far as one makes it is my opinion.

Having said that....Must love dogs, music, the arts, dancing the water and/or a walk on the beach...varied interests. I'd love to ride horses again. They are such magnificent animals. I am a definite animal lover!! Not into reptiles and love birds, but not in the house. I love picnics and cooking out and fishing. There are times I like to put on that "little black dress" and do the town. I'm not a rigid lady, so don't try to make me one. And, the little girl comes out in me quite a bit and I love it! And, have to admit I love flowers and the little things that make a lady smile. I don't give to receive; I give from my heart and it's big!!

I am sensual, passionate, great sense of humor, people person, very giving and caring, easy on the eyes, spontaneous, flexible, trust worthy and a great friend and listener. I am also a deep thinker and have very deep emotions. There is a gray area; everything is not black and white. I love anything that has to do with the water. I love nature and the mountains. I don't climb them, but love to see them. Not a bad cook either. Help in the kitchen is always appreciated and fun. My family means the world to me!! I guess one could sum it up by saying...I'm just me, always have been and always will be. I'm just a comfy person to be around and thank God for helping to make me this way. No, I'm not a religious fanatic by any means, but I do have a strong faith.

My Ideal Person:
A man who is willing to start a friendship to see if it leads to more. Must have a good sense of humor because I will make you laugh when you least expect it, love music and dancing, sports (never was a football widow), sailing, the arts, traveling both in the USA and internationally and must love dogs!!! We're a package deal. And, most importantly a good communicator who is willing to work thru a problem instead of run from it. I'm looking for someone to remember when with and look to our future. Not a one night stand either, so if sex is all you're looking for, best you move along because I am looking for more. And, if you're a 24/7 jeans person, I'm not for you either. To me there's a time and place for everything including how we dress.

If you're married or separated, don't bother as I will not respond. Also, you young men that are young enough to be my son, been there done that...Friend Finder would be a good place for you at this point in your life. We just don't have the same things in common.
