Looking for a "down to earth" guy - very affectionate - honest; no mountain climbers or world travelers please, as that wouldnt be my type of guy. I am a very loving, giving, divorced, caucasian female - almost 6 feet tall and quite overweight. I very recently took retirement, although I am taking the time to develop my own distance ed school over this next year or less. I love being an educator; its hard to retire from teaching and directing as a profession - so I know I wont for long. I am very close to my children (raised them as a single parent) and my grandchild; they have pretty much been my life, but my granddaughter is now 18 and my kids are obviously grown and doing well on their own (I am thankful for that). I have a lot of room in my life for a special someone who wants to share their life with me as well - someone who loves affection; can give it and take it both. Willing to start as friends and let it develop into something even more beautiful if that happens. Friendship is important too - so I wouldnt discount getting to know someone with some of the same interests as my own.
I am not exactly a couch potato, although my mobility is somewhat limited when walking distance due to bad knees. I do not mind doing things at home as well as going out. I am pretty easily entertained and enjoy a simple, loving lifestyle.
I am looking for someone ultimately interested in a monogomous relationship (if everything goes right) - someone to stand by each other no matter what - to the ultimate end of life here on earth. I believe that when the right two people connect, that kind of committment between two unselfish people is not only possible but very beautiful.

Overall, I really enjoy music - plays (not opera), karaoke, concerts, live bands . . I love to sing, but do not sing well. Seems there is a song for everything in life . .whether happy or sad  I really enjoy board games, computer games - almost any kind of game except emotional games. I love the beach areas, the pier and the firepits at night - warm blankets, snuggle . . .in fact I love to snuggle OFTEN (or is that constantly lol). I am a very touchy-feeling kind of person and don't even mind PDAs as long as it isnt to the level of being told to "Get a room" lol.
