I was widowed in 1995; it took a lot of getting used to, but for the most part I enjoy my life, although I do miss having a special man to share with. Still working part-time; having fun fixing up my new old house (house is old, but it's new to me). Enjoy the 4 seasons. Love living by a lake near the mountains, but still need an "ocean fix" every year or so (moved to VT from NJ in 1987). My 2 adult children "rarely visit" in person only because they both live in WA state, but we visit every week on the phone.

My Ideal Person:
Would like a man who is secure in himself, has a sense of humor, enjoys nature and being outdoors, loves (and is loved by) animals. Having grandchildren would be an asset.
