I'm a bit shy at first, but even though I am reserved, I enjoy excellent conversation and can be a lot of fun. I like to try new things and am interested in seeing if I can hook up with a nice man for companionship and maybe even love!
I have four grown children and two grandchildren. I currently live with my oldest son and his wife and their baby, my second grandchild, on his farm in northern KY. I have found that I'm not all that happy in a city situation and the country life is a lot more peaceful and quiet. I lived in the Boston area for several years, but it was getting more and more stressful for me and I was lonely for my family, so when I found out little Joshua was on the way, I moved here.
When I'm at home, I enjoy listening to classical music, oldies rock n roll, and klezmer sometimes. The types of movies I enjoy are mostly comedies and action/adventure, and I tend to choose TV shows that are NOT sit-coms or reality shows, preferring the CIS's, Criminal Minds, and Dexter, if the third season turns out to be as good as the first two. Some of my favorite actors are: Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat. I'm a Beatles fan of old.
I am semi-retired due to physical disability (arthritis) and spend much of my free time raising a garden and poultry, watching movies, reading, watching my little grandson, and listening to good music.
