I came here in hopes of making a friend or two. I have a great job that I love and family I enjoy spending time with. But there are other things I would like to do. Someone to do these things with would be wonderful.
Just little things like taking long walks, trips to the beach, or travelling to some of the beautiful places America has to see. Go on a picnic, hang out together on a sunny day boating or fishing on a mountain lake or next to one of our beatiful rivers in the area; maybe dinner or a movie some evening. I am interested in trying new adventures as long as I don't end up in traction or have to jump off of or out of anything above a foot off the ground! LOL But if you are one of those folks pretty sure you were born with wings I'll cheer you on while you fly.
I support myself so I am not looking for someone to take care of me financially. I don't smoke or do drugs and I am not interested in having that in my life. If you enjoy good conversation, a dry comic wit and honesty, maybe you might enjoy talking to me. I know I would like to listen to what you have to say. I really like learning about other people.
If you have nearly grown or grown children and grandchildren I think that's great. I work with teens and young adults because I truly enjoy being a part of their lives during this time of discovering who they are going to become; listening to their hopes, dreams and ideas and sometimes lending an ear when confusion, fears or tears get in the way.
Do you like to hike, bike, boat, fish, camp, read, watch old movies or listen to good ole Rock-n-Roll, country, jazz or blues? These are just a few things we might find in common. I would really enjoy hearing your ideas for fun things to do; let's talk about it.
My Ideal Person:
Gentleman 50 to 63 years old who lives near me and is truly interested in a lady-friend as a person. I will not respond to lude emails, but if you're one of the real men out there I would enjoy hearing from you.
