My glass is always a little over half full. My friends enjoy my humor and optimism. At least that's what they tell me. I am a real animal lover! Have a wee rescued Chihuahua who came into my life thru the generosity of a dear friend a month after I lost my husband.
Beginning here, comes the update.
We are new to the Fenton area....well, not real new. Moved here in July of '08. Really love it here. Moved from Farmington Hills to Fenton after Mom passed away last May. Am now (June '09) getting ready to move to Northville. Expect to be there by the end of the month. My step dad passed away in April after taking a really bad health turn in early March.
I now feel that I need to be a little closer to my son and my old friends. With Dads' passing, a new 'family member' has been added. His little rescued poodle. I worked at Curves 'til 06 when I took on the full time responsibility of caring for Mom and step dad, and before that, worked at Pace Yourself, another ladies gym. Exercise daily and keep fit. Have a little trouble acting my age 'cuz I just don't feel it. Really into electronic gadgets and PC's. Absolutely can't stand to be told there's something I can't do.
I have a problem when it comes to hunting and fishing. I love early morning or evening walks. Especially in the spring and fall.
Also, belong to Eagles and Moose but haven't been to the ones out here yet.
Well, it appears that I've reached the 'rambling' stage and this would be a very good place to stop. Am sure I'll think of something else and will return....
Oh yes, and in my 'physical profile', I listed body type as 'athletic'. 'Fit' is more appropriate. Size 8
My Ideal Person:
I think that right now, I need friends.If something more comes into play, that would be nice. And, please!!!! SINGLES ONLY!!!!. I really am more interested in someone younger. Most of my friends have almost always been younger. Also, my ideal person would be fit. A non smoker is a must. This person would have to have a love of animals. I don't like arguments or confrontations. I especially enjoy the company of people who are positive and upbeat. Honesty and compassion are, also, important. Sense of humor a must.
