I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, freshwater fishing, sitting by the fire pit, watching really old movies like To Kill A Mockingbird or Meet John Doe, documentaries, car shows, small town festivals, outdoor concerts on occasion and the detailed workmanship in old architecture fascinates me. I absolutely LOVE trains. I read Stephen King mostly (don't get scared easily - except by palmetto bugs HATE 'em). I love to laugh, especially at myself, and I give myself plenty of opportunities for that pleasure, though not usually on purpose! I treat others the way I want to be treated. I'm open to trying some new activities but a little too conservative to go rock climbing, parachuting, or end up bruised and battered in a go-fast-boat ride again. Pontoon boats and canoes are more my speed. On the water...
My Ideal Person:
Someone who loves to laugh. Someone who is thoughtful, kind and has a few manners. Someone who likes to be around people but treasures private time as well. No illegal drugs. Absolutely NO ILLEGAL DRUGS. Not even pot. Someone who has gotten over their e es) and doesn't need to punish ME for things others have done to them in the past. NO lies. It shows a decided lack of trust and that is no basis for any kind of relationship, friend or otherwise. Someone who has the maturity to realize that the word 'friend' simply means a gal needs to know you like them as a person before going further (physically). Someone who does their best to keep their word. Someone who doesn't hate cats. Not an absolute requirement, but my skin is very sensitive so a clean shaven face is a turn on.
