Hello new friend. My history includes being a teacher of adults for twenty years in elementary, high school, and a community college in Florida and Indiana. I was born in Indiana.During that time I taught Reading especially in GED classes for dults. Retiring from that position, I worked for AT&T in Denver for five years subsequently moving to Colorado Springs to be near my daughter who has no children. My son lives in Atlanta with twin daughters who are now 5 years old. I usually play bridge weekly and love to take walks on nice days in the winter and summer. I am enrolled in an online computer class in expectation of keeping my brain up to date. I like to talk and share ideas about all manner of subjects. I also like to listen to other people's experiences. I like to travel. I have been to New Zealand, Canada, and islands South of Cuba. There's a lot of world left to see. Dining at a fine restaurant is preferable to "fast food" joints so I prefer the former. I am attractive and physically in shape. No extra lbs right now. Who knows what the future holds?? Cooking a good dinner at home for company is a pleasurable event for me. Sitting at a fireplace with a friend and enjoying the fire sounds like a real treat. Having company on a regular basis with enjoyable activities to share is the bottom line of my search for a compatible partner.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who likes to learn or has already learned about interesting subjects including science, computer advances, etc. I am not a member of any one religious congregation, but I read many books about spirituality. Laughing is a healthy activity and I do prefer light comedy or movies to wild, violent shows. I admire motorcyclists, but my experiences find me frightened by the quick turns on hills and busy streets. I would consider trying a trip again. I prefer to have a monogomonist relationship to an open one. Security is important and trusting someone is a high standard that I desire to find in a mutual relationship.
