You are welcome to read the rest of this but the point is I’m normal, the way normal used to be. If realty TV is your drama, you are in the wrong place. I have some pretty old fashioned beliefs that a man’s role is protector/provider. Not a meal ticket. A man is a man, and a women should be a woman.

I come equipped with a riotous sense of humor, a job(s), I'm stable, nothing needs to be "fixed" here, hard working, kind hearted and dependable to a fault, intelligent, fun loving, healthy, respectful, confident woman looking for the same qualities in a partner. A suitable partner would be of my same race, ages 45-59, or someone that acts near my age and vice versa. I am young at heart and am energetic. If you are reading this in your underwear on the couch, I am not for you. It is almost impossible to do this without saying "ME or what I’m looking for", but I want you to know this is about you. I am a woman who knows exactly what she wants and that is a comfortable, committed, secure and passionate relationship. I want to travel and experience new things with this person. I want him to know how much I love him just by the look in my eyes and vice versa. I want "us" to think and feel...damn she/he makes me feel good inside and out. I want that "I can't wait to get home to her feeling." I want him to watch out the window...looking for me to drive up the road. I want to get excited when I hear the familiar sound of the garage door opening.
If you have any addictive habits other than love I would not be interested.
I miss strong arms around me. I miss a warm chest to lay my head on. I miss the way a man’s wet skin feels and smells when he gets out of the shower. I want my guy to want to walk up behind me, turn me around and kiss me with one of those "rock my world, melt me into my shoes" kisses. I want him to crave my arms to be around him. I want him to feel more like a man than he ever has in his life. I want to encourage each other, look out for each other and accomplish things together. I want my guy to know he can depend on me, and I can depend on him. I want to love him and his dog.
OK the dog can depend on me too. HA!
I want to learn all his ways, I want him to learn all of mine. I want him to admire my garden, my cooking, my style, my intelligence and sensibilities, my interests and my sense of humor. I want to admire his (everything) boat, his motorcycle, his gadgets in his tool chest, the gizmos in his tackle box, his movie collection, his model collection, his intelligence, his interests and his sense of humor.
I want us to share all the "honey do's" and “thanks for doing that whatever's for me” and “what do you think about this'"- sweet nothings that count for so much!! I want him to appreciate simple things like she knows what fork to use at dinner and the difference between a slot or a phillips head and she knows how to call AAA if she has a flat or locks her keys in her car, and can bait her own hook. I want to appreciate simple things like he smells good, talks about anything, loves hard, works hard and plays hard, he can dress up or down. I want to sit on the back porch in the swing under a full moon and talk about our wishes and worries, desires and concerns..or just listen to the crickets. I want to make out like teenagers...I miss those wow moments...like when you discover something together that you've never experienced before, or realize you have found something else you have in common. I miss having a man that takes the initiative to fill the car up with gas and change the oil. I miss catching each other doing something utterly hilarious and laughing till we cry. I want a man to cook with, watch or go to football games with or go fishing with, or just stay home and play cards. A man that knows when he should take "us" out to dinner or on vacation and makes the arrangements. I want to know how he likes to be pampered and when he likes to be pampered. I want to celebrate life together.
In one sense this is all hokey junk. In the very next moment it is something I crave. We accept each other and rapidly move (day by day) to make the rest of our life the best it can be. I want to talk to you face to face or at least by phone. While this may be a lot to digest, it may be the smallest thing to digest for the rest of your life. While I have said a lot here, I think all I have discussed is what used to be considered normal. I want a REAL man that deserves, loves and respects a REAL woman.
