Hello! I'm a 47 year old divorced professional & work full time for a humble non-profit organization. I have two children ages 22 and 17 who live at home with me but are so busy with school, work & friends, I think I might just be imagining they exist and I really live alone!
But hey, it's okay, really! I love the peace and solitude and the freedom to do whatever whenever, something I couldn't experience for so many years! I spend most of my non-working hours at home alone, just puttering and getting the things I need done. I use to be more active, but I tend to keep myself busy & content at home w/ cleaning, reading, writing, some scrapbooking, preparing meals & for the past couple of years I'm watching TV now! Otherwise I go to the gym or I go visiting friends for coffe or lunch.
I kind of like being a homebody when I'm not working - a weekend homebody instead of a weekend warrior! But, sometimes... I miss having a reason to go out & do other things with someone else! Maybe you are like me and just need a friend for now? Well, then if things fall into place maybe this could develop into something more?
I'm not hung up on physical beauty in a friend or a partner, I like to look beyond the photo and I hope you do too! There has to be something more on the inside that I'm attracted to. But you know, you have to let those kinds of things happen naturally, whether you're meant to be together or not. You have to feel there's something more, not force something that doesn't feel right! Sometimes you can tell on the first date one way or another, and sometimes it takes longer.
My Ideal Person:
Well, I guess the basics might be a a good place to start: I definitely would love to meet someone who is honest, loving, educated or intelligent, a good listener, responsible, and appreciates those good qualities in a woman! He doesn't have to be so active anymore either! Home is my sanctuary! How about you?
