Some basic facts about myself…I am a transplanted New Yorker(upstate) and have lived in Florida for 30 years. I consider myself down-to-earth, grounded, professional, stable (emotionally, mentally, and financially) outgoing with sometimes a slight streak of shyness in large group situations, always smiling (okay, almost always smiling). I love everything from watching any movie (TV, theatre), traveling (favorite spots Grand Canyon for the view, Paris just because), dining out (casual, white wine required), going to Broadway shows, shopping especially at Dillards and Lowe’s, cooking a few great meals a year, anything on the water and just plain laughing and smiling.
I have one child, a daughter, 16 years old and 1 dog – 4 pounds. This is my daughters last year in high school and then hopefully she will be off to college – I am encouraging her to go to a school at least a few hours away. (Selfish, I know). I will miss her but…
Career wise – I am an IT Application Tech Manager with a company in Tampa. I have been there over 15 years. I meet a variety of interesting people and always feel challenged to accomplish something everyday.
I love reading, usually fiction and have a number of favorite authors. I just finished reading all the Tim Dorsey novels - they cracked me up.
