My Ideal Person:
I want broad minded friends who are compassionate and who understand that one's [smug] life can change in a minute .. those who can [as my Mother suggested] live, laugh, love and be merry for tomorrow you may die [She was one of those morose fatalistic Irish types - idiotically laughing in the face of fatalism].

I am an informed 'news junkie' but never feel the need to impose my persuasions and beliefs on others, preferring to honor the Fathers of our Constitution who embraced the idea of a nation of free thinkers, and would admire a person who is like that too.

I love the beach, the sun, furry pettable things, rock n roll, the knowledge available on the web, nights at home in front of a fireplace with a good or even a bad book ... good cooking, comfort, sweetness! I guess I am saying that I hope I am that way and would appreciate one who seeks to be that way too. I am an archtype: a strong southern woman fond of other strong women and a sad lover of weak men - poised to happily adore a strong man. I'm usually happy and ready to laugh and have fun. I am oddly optimistic [there must be a pony in here!] ... and my ideal person would be just that crazy, too ...Let's laugh and be happy.
