I am living in the desert while my son attends the University of Arizona. The cactus, the heat, the brown adobes -- all make a woman long for a life of cool companionship.
I am looking for a cuddly friend, but not necessarily someone who shares my interests. Most of the things I do are done alone: swimming, reading, playing music, etc. That's OK. Maybe you like doing your things alone, too. I like space, and I need a person who likes space, too.

I can't describe what I'm looking for. It's possible to like very different types of people. I don't want to get married or live with anyone, so it's possible to care very much for someone who would drive me crazy 24/7. And vicey-versey. I do want someone who likes to talk and laugh and share book, movie and political ideas, not necessarily all of those. In other words, be INTERESTED in life.
