Hi!
I am an L.A. transplant. Have lived up in the Sierra foothills for 2 yrs now. I moved up here to be with my family after my husband passed away in 2006. Currently disabled due to hip and knee replacement, but am doing pretty well.
I am looking for pen pals and maybe activity partners, later after the smoke clears from all the fires up here! I like to read alot, crazy about Dean Koontz, Nora Roberts, and hysterical historicals.
Like to garden and cook, especially BBQs in the backyard with family and friends. Would like to broaden my scope of friends up here and start going to bingo and due some volunteering at the senior center in next town of Paradise.
Would love to hear from all people up here and also ajoining cities. Also out of CA as well.

I would like to meet caring and compassionate people
who have a great sense of humor. I have been told I have a wacky one myself and I love to make others laugh. I have a strong sense of family values and like to be around same kind of people. I am a very positive person and faith centered. Both traits have seen me thru some very tough times in the past few years.
