Worked hard in the transportation industry for forty years. I have been retired since December of 2002, and enjoy my hard-earned free time immensely. I like dancing, intelligent conversation, movies & live theater. I also enjoy jaunts with my friends to various places. I am active in the Red Hat Society and am queen of a local chapter. My friends describe me as funny,loyal,outgoing and easy to get along with. I am a frequent visitor in the Lobby chatroom, and always play Trivia on Sunday night. I intensely dislike chicken in all forms and for that matter, poultry of any kind. I am unimpressed with people who are convinced that their views are the only ones worth considering.
My Ideal Person:
Witty,intelligent,reasonably well educated,good conversationalist, open-minded, doesn't take self too seriously. Would help if we had some mutual interests. Would like to establish friendships either personal for someone nearby or, for someone further away, perhaps an on-line correspondence that would be amusing and entertaining for both of us. I do enjoy email and IM. Also, wonder if there is anybody on here who is NOT hung up on "long walks on the beach"?? Jeeezzz!!!!
