I'm a bit shy and will probably wait for you to say "hi" first. I confess that I am more of a girlie-girl than the woods-woman type, but I want to learn and share your interests with you. (But you should really know that I am a big sissy when it comes to pushing those worms on a hook).
I moved to Texas from Illinois with my family in 1984 when my (then) husband took a job here. I have 4 children (grown and on their own), and 1 terrific son-in-law. Divorced in 1991, I went to work full-time, and that temporary job has grown into a 20+ year career. Although I have no immediate plan, I'm looking forward to retirement to have more time for family, friends and enjoying life in general.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for new friendships, with no expectations beyond the present. I truly admire the man who is compassionate and attentive, yet stands confidently on his own. If you tell me you will dance with me, you have my attention. If you can come up with that word/name that was just on the tip of my tongue (and now forgotten), I may need you. I hope to find an honest, sincere man who is dedicated to his responsibilities, committed to his friends and loved ones, and a need to take time to play. I love the thought of walking hand-in-hand with you on beautiful white beaches, or cuddling in front of the fireplace on a cold winter day.
