I guess I could say that I am an old hippie who never quite grew up. Oh, I had my children and raised them right, and a couple of careers, but now I still listen to 60's music and let the kid in me out to play.
I am intelligent, articulate, adventurous, easy going, fun to be with, a great cook, and I do everything a bit too quickly. But I have learned to live with that.
I love anything outdoorsey and enjoy spending several weekends a summer out tenting in the woods. It is something I have done, well, almost all my life. Hiking, swimming, beaching, boating, fishing, kayaking - all great activities.Less of all of these than I used to, however.
And when I am tired I relax with a good book or a movie, or preferably - a GREAT conversation. That is where you come in. I am looking for a smart, articulate, fun, loving guy who can think quickly and come up with the one liners to make me laugh. Then we can go for that walk, or drive to a fun place, or perhaps a nice dinner out. I enjoy lots of things.
I am artisitic and paint a lot - mostly animal portraits. And, as I am not quite retired yet, I spend a good bit of time every week at my job as a graphic designer at a newspaper.
My life is busy and sometimes full - but it is lacking one most important aspect - a friend and partner to share it all. If you love books and food and great conversations and music and the outdoors and your one true love, then we really oughta talk.
My Ideal Person:
As mentioned above, I am looking for someone who is intelligent and can hold up his end of an in-depth conversation. Someone who can laugh at himself and yet knows how to treat a lady. I want a man to wander with and watch the stars and the clouds with, to spend outr indoors time talking and enjoying the peace, and learning a bit more each day. Yeah, a romantic at heart, and a man filled with belief in good things.
