Hi. Don't let my age fool you; I am a young 66 (nobody guesses my real age). I recently retired and am thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. I socialize a lot with my friends, but am always looking to meet new, interesting people.
I love cats and dogs. While they are wonderful companions, sometimes a great conversation over a cup of coffee with a human can't be beat.
I have a good sense of humor and am often told I can make people laugh. I have an easy going nature and am open-minded. My daughter thinks I'm "hip".
I like a little spontaneity and have the flexibility to go at a moment's notice. There are days that sleeping in and having a leisurely breakfast are great, but that needs to be balanced with some playful adventure.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet someone who enjoys good conversation and is able to say what's on his mind.
My ideal companion likes to participate in a variety of activities that aren't centered around the outdoors, like fishing, hunting, camping or NASCAR. I don't mind attending sporting events, like college basketball and wrestling.
I'd like to meet someone who is flexible and can laugh at himself and the world. An ideal companion would be someone who is not afraid of small gestures (e.g., a hand squeeze, pet name, secret smile or wink) that make a lady feel special.
I am not looking to meet anyone who is already married, separated, or has a significant other. Two is company, three is a crowd.
