I moved to VA within the past year, and am enjoying life here. I have lived in several areas of the U S, including Seattle, Colorado Springs, S Maryland, and was able to live in Europe for 20 years. I was a government civilian during my first career, and retired last year to begin my second career as a government consultant. The Northern VA area is the natural place for that type of work, so here I am, enjoying all that this wonderful area has to offer! Being new to the East coast, I am looking for special people that I want to spend time with. My hope is that through this forum, I can communicate with men that I would not meet otherwise. I am an independent, confident woman that is anxious to share my life with someone who really wants to be with me. I enjoy theater, museums, and above all, travel. I enjoy wine, cooking (and eating) healthy cuisine, good coffee, and lively conversation. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle, but would like a partner to walk and run with.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a person that I can enjoy a "meeting of the minds" with. I just want to be able to relax and be myself, knowing that I won't be judged, but will be accepted for who and what I am. That being said, I am looking for an honest person that enjoys life, likes to laugh, enjoys being with other people, but also likes some quiet time to themselves. Overall good people are what I am looking for!
