I'm a homemaker [Per Roseanne, otherwise known as a "Domestic Goddess"], and I enjoy traveling, reading, the computer, listening to most kinds of music, the NY Yankees!!!, the water and the mountains, and being with good friends. I tend to be on the sensitive side, but I've learned to deal with reality whether I like it or not. I'm also a romantic and a dreamer, but I know not all dreams can come true. I'm not materialistic, but when I do shop I prefer quality over quantity. My greatest pleasure in life is giving to others. Making others happy makes me happy. I'm also honest to a fault, using tact when called for. It seems people tend to come to me for advice with problems. Maybe because I've lived life, until about 10 years ago, my way, which wasn't always the smartest way. But, I definitely have experience and have learned my life lessons. I finally grew up and try to live the Lord's way now. Also, I'm very non-judgmental and I'm a good listener. At this stage of my life, I really know who I am.

Although, I am a born again Christian, I'm also an oxymoron. (Some may say just a moron. [shrug]) I am a liberal Democrat Christian who is not hypocritical, judgmental, who is tolerant, and who can agree to disagree with someone else's opinions, as long as they aren't yelling at me. My parents told me I was rebellious even as a baby!

I have a 27 year old son who lives in New Orleans, who is, and always has been, the light of my life.

I am able to relocate, so geography is not important to me. Actually, I wouldn't mind moving to a warmer and less humid climate. Rochester gets mighty cold in the winter, and the little bit of summer we have is downright cruel to the hair!

I am curious to find out if my soul mate truly exists!

My Ideal Person:
The main thing I'm looking for in a man is strength, and by that I mean inner strength. Someone who has been through his mid-life crisis and knows who he is and what he wants. A man who doesn't have a problem communicating his feelings is very important to me. I don't need to find a billionaire, but I don't want to have to support someone. [On my budget that wouldn't be likely, anyway. ] I look for intelligence, but not condescension. Honesty, loyalty and fidelity are definitely on the top of the list of attributes that I look for. Most of all, though, when it comes to a man's personality, I think the main thing is that he has a wonderful sense of humor and wants to have fun. Life is getting shorter now and I don't want to waste another minute of it!

As for looks, that's so subjective. I don't need a model gorgeous guy. If I look into a man's eyes and feel that chemistry, and begin to (using a very old fashioned term here) swoon, that's what wins me over! That is as long as he is sincere and a man of character.

PS I don't have a pic of me holding a big fish. Unfortunately it got away! Also, my Harley, Ferrari, Lear jet, and yacht are all in the shop for repairs, so I don't have any pics of me with them either. Finally, my butler refuses to have a picture taken with me, ever since my villa in the south of France was destroyed by a freak tidal wave off the Mediterranean, and he had to move to Rochester, NY. He's extremely depressed!
