I've met some very nice men and women members. Some have become friends that already know I have put the thought of a serious relationship on hold. I truly cherish those friendships. Thank You for your thoughtfulness and encouragement.
When I joined Senior Friend Finders I had reached a moving on point in my life. Once again, my direction in life was destine to change. For the first time I found myself fighting for my life.
I found a lump. My diagnosis was breast cancer.(not what any of us care to hear). After some severe side effects from chemotherapy I am undergoing a lesser dose once a week. This is making the side effects more tolerable. My Oncologist has scheduled me to continue these treatments until early 2010. The Oncology staff feel I have an excellent chance for a full recovery. (It's wonderful there are so many cancer survivors today)

Hello There!
I've shared a long marriage for most my adult life until one day life as I knew it was changed forever. I've learned to live again being me.
Here I am in hopes of making new single friends. Possibly, one of those friendships will be with a gentleman that is truly looking for that special lady in his life to share his unconditional love. I'm young at heart and enjoy sharing companionship and the simplicities of life. I strive to maintain a positive outlook and cheerful attitude. Life is two precious to let it slip away.

I love to smile and share a good laugh. I'm told I'm often accompanied by a ray of sunshine. I don't come with baggage and seek the same in return. I'm comfortable in a pair jeans or shorts and can also dress for most any occasion. I often wear high heels and love to look and feel like a lady. There is definitely that LilBitCountryGal in me and there is also that LilBitClassyGal in me. I strive to be understanding, compassionate, honest, practical, fair, and realistic.
I enjoy a diversity of interests. Most of all ready to share the rest of my life with the man that captures my heart. After all, it's who your with that's most important. We feel comfortable and supportive helping each other through the good and the bad. We laugh and cry together. Most of all, we value honesty in our relationship. I enjoy most anything as long as it's spending time with the man that has captured my heart and I equally capture his. We enjoy sharing a cup of coffee, cuddles, hugs and kisses, walking along the beach or just taking walks holding hands, romantic candlelight dinners, listening to music, having a picnic and cuddling in front of the fireplace, slow dancing in the kitchen. I love the beauty of nature, flowers, the sound of waves touching the shore. I look forward to being held in that special mans arms. I believe true love can be shared more then once.
