Let me tell you a little about myself, am divorced, the mother of two, one granddaughter, just ask me about her. *smile* Retired from the wedding business, was self employed florist/ caterer. I am interested in History, Genealogy, Travel, Gardening (on a small scale) Cooking, Needlework and Decorating. Home is very important to me, and I love making it pretty and comfortable. Nothing is more fun than two people preparing a meal together. I prefer entertaining in small groups, my years of catering gave me my fill of large crowds and huge dinners. Love that old motto, "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver, the other gold." Hmmmmmm...Perhaps I should do that in X stitch.
My Ideal Person:
A man who is strong and gentle at the same time. He will bring me flowers because it is NOT my birthday. *smile* He will laugh with me, weep with me...and walk beside me all the days of our lives. He has learned from his life experiences and realizes that time is shorter than it has been, and we have one chance for a good relationship. He is not willing to throw it away, He knows what is valuable and what is not. He will be a companion a partner, a Non smoker, moderate drinker, with a good sense of humor. Common interests are nice but tolerance is equally important. Who knows... we just might learn from each other.
He is courteous, sensitive, loyal, and above all, honest. He will bring new interests to my life, and I hope I will to his.
