I am a tall, Irish woman who is looking for new friends, new relationships, new adventures. I love my dogs, like to travel, would love to tour North America in an RV and just see what there is to see. I am widowed, been down that bumpy road and am ready to see what is wonderful and new out there now.
I love to throw my head back and laugh out loud. I'd rather be in comfy clothes, but am not opposed to dressing up for a special occasion or just for my partner.
I want to begin a relationship as friends and see where it goes from there. If friends is it... then friends we'll be. I am in no hurry to make the magic happen, but if it does I am in no hurry to turn away from it.
I am not a shopper but I do like to browse curio shops, flea markets, etc. I'd rather set my hair on fire than go to a mall on a Saturday... and the grocery store is a close 2nd, but a necessity.
My Ideal Person:
I'd like a man who is proud of himself... someone that cares as much for me as I do for him. I love to cook and would like someone to help or give directions... which ever they'd like. I want to travel and see new places. I could sit on the beach and watch the waves for hours or stroll down the shore looking for shells. A screened in porch on a rainy day in the mountains would be wonderful... rain on a tin roof, a big roaring fire... all of these I'd like for him to enjoy as well.
I want someone that has their own agenda... maybe it is golf on Saturday, or poker with the guys. Everyone needs their own time and space. I personally like being a golf widow... LOL
I do want to grow old (older) with a partner that likes my kids, my dogs, my grumpy side, my happy side and sometimes even my teary side. I want to be that same person for him.
This is who I am and who I'd like to meet and we can just see where it goes from there.
