I've been widowed since 2002, and have been trying to get back into the dating scene after 38 years of marriage. Things are REALLY different out here now! I have met some interesting people, including many dishonest men with agendas of their own, but I know that somewhere there is an honest, SINGLE adventurous man who appreciates an intelligent woman with a good sense of humor, and a love of life. Well, I'm here! I live in the forest, 6200 feet up a mountain, with my pack of wolves, dogs, and cats, all rescued from abusive or neglectful owners. I love horses and Harleys, the mountains and the beach, and I'm not ready to sit in a rocker watching soap operas and knitting! Life is too short and I live by the motto of "Live, Love, Laugh".
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a SINGLE man who is still active and loves adventure. I like men who are taller than I am, but I'm not judgemental about looks, since I judge people by who they are inside and by how they treat others. Honesty is a must...I've met enough liars to last a lifetime and am tired of the head games and hidden agendas. I want someone who is affectionate, passionate, and still ready for a new adventure. UPDATE...I have had a Christmas Miracle (Christmas 2007) and am now in a committed relationship with a local man that I've known for some time and actually met on-line. He loves animals and knows that I can't relocate, so he has agreed to move in with me and share my life and home, not a decision easily made, but one that is proving to be the wonderfully right thing for both of us. Of course, I will stick around here since I have made so many great friends, and I don't want to miss the blogs or my time in chat. I DO believe in miracles, and I hope everyone here gets a chance to be as happy as I am right now. Ain't love grand? >
