Foxy lady, 52,looking for new friends in AZ I’m not lazy or looking for anyone’s money, and I'm no gold digger by far, it's just how life is for me right now. And I can explain why.....I am going through the long process of SSID, because of heart trouble in 2004. My attorney says we are very close to the end now, maybe just a few months away. It’s taken 3 years so far. Not being able to work since 2004, I lost everything, my mobile home, my car, my life just turned upside down; I was living alone in Mesa AZ at the time. I have no family anywhere but my kids, who are all grown and live in different states.
Then someone came to my rescue, and I call him my Hero now. He is my 23 yr old son, Jesse, who is currently serving in the Army.
Since 2005 he has made sure his mom was ok and taken care of. When he returned from Iraq in March 2006, he moved me from Arizona (was dragging my feet though) to join him where he was to be stationed, at Ft.Benning GA. He is an awesome young man, I'm very proud of him in so many ways. Along with being so grateful to him for all he has done, and for being there for me, like he was. He really is my Hero.
I’m a baby boomer, an "old hippie" and proud of it. I really find they are the most open minded people, non judgmental towards others, and are truly themselves, I don't like phony people. I'm very honest, sometimes too honest, but I always tell it like it is.
I love the outdoors, and nature, I'm very much an animal lover! I live by the phrase, "always treat others the way you would want to be treated" and pretty much you can do anything in life you want to do, if it’s done in moderation.
I am very spiritual, feel religion is a very personal thing, and for me, do not require a church.
I'm a very down to earth type person, good hearted and live pretty much a simple life really. The best things in life are free holds true for me. Been told I'm not like most women, I'm not a man so don't know what that really means, but I think they mean, I don't have some of the qualities of a woman, that men don't like. I do have 2 small pets, and to me they are like my kids.
I'm looking for a down to earth kind of man, who is good hearted, understanding and very caring, who doesn't need a working woman.
I still love long hair on a man, well groomed of course, and because of my size, 5ft and 100 lbs, I prefer men who are short or average height. I seem to get along with men well, I've been told I'm the best friend a person could have, I value friendship. Real friendship is important to me, and always a good basis for any relationship. I like my independence, but sure looking for some companionship from any of you guys who feel I may be what you're looking for too. I AM RETURNING TO ARIZONA IN A FEW MONTHS! I will be in the Sierra Vista area. My son is being sent to Ft.Huachuca Army base, which means I get to return home to Arizona where my heart is.

Just can’t wait to get there!!!
UPDATE: The social Security case in now finally over so my plans are close. I have to stay here until I receive some back pay. I'm anxious to get back.
