WYSIWYG~I'm pretty straight-forward, once I get to know someone. I don't dance, dye my hair, or do street drugs. Totally casual is my style...jeans, t-shirts, wash-and-wear hair, comfortable shoes. The bar scene is OK once in awhile, but background noise drives me up the wall when I'm enjoying a conversation, so I'd rather have quieter surroundings most of the time. I've been divorced for years, with a couple of serious relationships since, but not the permanent kind. I have two wonderful sons, both grown and on their own. I retired in 2007, and now I'd like to do some traveling and catch up on things I've missed while busy working. I enjoy checking out flea markets and auctions, bingo, attending rock concerts (would love to see Eric Clapton!) and would like to try a comedy club (watching, not doing!).
My Ideal Person:
I'd like to find someone who would enjoy traveling and seeing the USA with me. He should be reasonably intelligent, honest and trustworthy. His inner beauty is more important to me than his outward appearance, although I prefer men taller than I and with an average build or bigger. If we "click," he should have time to spend doing anything we find enjoyable, even if it's just sitting at home and watching TV or chatting. I am looking for a partner, that is, an equal, with neither of us dominating the other.
