I am 5'4" tall, 138 pounds, long brown hair with touches of gray, brown eyes....a country girl at heart, love and prefer casual clothing but can put a dress on when I have to. Children all gone ~ married. I have been both divorced and widowed and am not carrying any emotional baggage from the past as I have been unattached for a very long time, busy raising a daughter, working for 25+ years as an antique dealer ~ now mostly retired but still working part time. I love animals and was a volunteer for 20+ years with abused and abandoned animals. I am easy going and do not care to run, run, run. I've already done enough of that and would like to spend what years are left with a good friend, or companion, or prayer partner, or all three ~ someone I feel "connected" to. I have a great sense of humor, need to laugh and feel it is very important to one's emotional well-being and health. I am a born again Christian, not to be confused with "deeply religious". I get lonesome at times. I'm hoping to find a person (or people, one can never have too many good friends) out there in my area (Lancaster County, PA or nearby)who feels a little lonesome also. What a person is inside and in their heart is more important to me than physical appearance. A good sense of humor is a must!
My Ideal Person:
Asking us to describe what we are looking for in a person/persons? Common sense dictates that people are on this site as they would like to find others to share life with. I do not think "interests" are very important, but rather that personalities are compatible and accepting others as they are. Were I to describe what I like personality traits I like in people ~ honest, great sense of humor, moral and compassionate toward others...just others looking for new, good friends. HOWEVER, I am not looking for perfect people as I am not perfect. I _would_ prefer to email first, develop a friendship and see where things go from there. Our interests need not be identical as I am sure some common interests would be there. If you are allergic to ~ or do not like ~ cats, you may want to look elsewhere as I have 3.
