I am a youthful, slim but rather shy 57 year old guy looking to put a little more excitement into his life which has grown rather stale of late. First off, I'm married so if you want a single guy then read no further! I'm fairly new at all this and probably a bit niaive about what to expect on here but hope one or two of you ladies would be interested in chatting with me. I feel this should be a two way thing where we both get some interest and excitement out of it. Although shy and a bit of a slow starter I do like to chat - especially once I get to know someone....but I'm not a man's man who talks about football and goes down the pub - I hate football and I don't go boozing with mates - in fact I don't really like male company at all as I'd far rather sit down and chat with you girls.....and not just about FUN I just find that ladies are far more interesting to chat to....but you must be able to hold an intelligent conversation! So if you like the sound of me and would like to chat - either by email or or whatever then please just get in touch. Unfortunately I am just a standard member so cannot initiate emails which is a bit of a pain but as this is just something I am trying out it doesn't really seem worth getting a full membership if I can meet you ladies anyway! Then again perhaps I'm just a penny pincher?! So where does my wife fit into all of this? She doesn't I'm afraid. Although I love her dearly she has lost all interest in the more 'exciting' things in life and just leaves me to find my own 'interests'....hence trying this out.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for a lady who can hold an interesting conversation - not about sport or politics...I know nothing about those!
If you are the type of lady who likes to get to know someone first and even if you are a little shy then that would be great. I am not worried about age or body shape as that is not really important - although if pushed I must admit I do like ladies who are NOT that perfect model shape.
So in brief - you should be intelligent, funloving, and preferably open minded and looking initially for chat - but who knows what it could lead on to if we get on?
