I live in the deep South USA, widowed 4 1/2 years ago. Looking for pen friends only. I am well educated (Master's Degree), well employed (medical records correspondent for large psychiatric office), well housed (I own my own home), no ren. I have worked some unusual jobs such as maximum security pri, private investigations, chasing/apprehending shoplifters, and a steel mill. Love to read, swim, garden, movies, and all kinds of music from Classic Rock & Roll to Opera.(especially Pavarotti singing Puccini).
My Ideal Person
Looking for pen friends....My late husband was Welsh therefore I love all things Welsh and love the UK. ...want intelligent, fun and funny correspondence, don't need a preacher or a prude.. someone who loves jokes and laughter. Someone who can talk about movies, music, the state of the world, whatever. If you are macho or have anger issues, PLEASE pass me by....I have already been there and done that.....don't want to go there again. If you are a sports fan, that's ok, I can deal with that. But if you have to be stuck in front of 3 TVs for 30 hours over the weekend watching different games at the same time PASS ME BY. I can always amuse myself if a man likes to watch his sports, but IF THAT IS ALL YOU KNOW HOW TO DO ON THE WEEKEND.....PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE....DO NOT CONTACT ME. I don't need a man to buy me things or do things for me....what I want I buy for myself. If I need something done, I either do it myself or pay to have it done. I have enough jewelry, clothes, and shoes. I am a tad high maintenance, but I am always willing to pay for my own maintenance....never expected a man to do that and it won't change. I want a man who can be FULLY present in the moment....WITH ME....and he should know if he is in my life, he is there because I want him to be...not because I need his paycheck, his possessions, or his benefits...I already have all of that thank you very much.
