I am a 48-year-old woman, retired from medical transcription after ten years. I'm pretty much of a homebody. I enjoy reading, playing on the computer, cross stitch, and needlepoint. I have two children. My daughter is married and on her own. She has two children, a girl, age six, and a boy, born March 14, 2007. My son is 15 and a freshman in high school.
Some of my favorite restaurants are ones that serve Chinese and Mexican food. I also like certain kinds of seafood.
I also like to rent movies to watch at home and would love to go to the theater some if I got the chance. I haven't seen a play since I was a kid but would enjoy seeing another one if the opportunity arose. My son and I watch a lot of television together, which include shows like Law & Order SVU, Law & Order Criminal Intent, CSI, Monk, House, and we also watch sitcoms such as Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Yes Dear. We also watch wrestling, which is one of his favorite shows.
I love just about all types of music, everything that I grew up with, some of the music of the times but am not much on rap.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a man who is stable, down-to-earth, communicative, funny, honest, understanding, cares about others' feelings, and someone who is willing to accept me for the person that I am. I am hoping to find someone who is willing to accept my children also. I am also willing to meet someone who just wants to be friends and see where it goes from there. I am looking for a relationship but don't want to rush into anything too fast.
