I am a teacher who is nearing retirement. I would like to have a travel companion and friend. If a friendship leads to more that is ok, but marriage is not my primary goal at this point. I would like to share a love of books, bridge, and gardening as well.

My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who is stable, mentally, emotionally, and financially. Wealth is certainly not a prerequisite, but I do not plan to support anyone else on my retirement income. A sense of humor is essential as well as an interest in learning new things. Family is very important to me and a friend would have to be tolerant of those interests. I have a circle of friends that I hope a companion would learn to enjoy as much as I do.
