After having wandered the U S and many parts of the world for about 30 years I have returned to the small north Missouri town from which I left so long ago. Since my return I have become involved in many clubs, groups and organizations, the most of which are populated with women. Thus I have found few men here with whom to find companionship. My friends and acquaintances tell me they would never have guessed my age because I look and act so much younger. I very much enjoy dancing. I have square danced for about forty years and found when I returned here that I also enjoyed country/western swing dancing. I also like to attend musical programs, plays and good restaurants. I haven't given up travel either. My most recent out of country traveling was during the two years I spent as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine from 2001-2003. While there I was a teacher trainer in a state university. What a rewarding experience that was!
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who enjoys some of the same things I do, but who also likes different activities. It makes a person more interesting if he is not a carbon copy. The one I’m interested in should have a good sense of humor and not take things too seriously. I do not smoke and do not choose to date a smoker. Light/social drinking is ok, but I drink very little and expect my partner to do the same. I am in good physical health and exercise some but, I don’t go as much as I should even though I have membership in a gym. My reason for being on this site is to meet a man for either friendship or a long-term relationship. While I like to go out on dates, I would also enjoy having a male pen pal of whatever age. If you think along the same lines, write me.
