I enjoy quiet times at home. I enjoy good books and
probably spend at least 20 hours a week reading. I keep a list of perhaps 40-50 favorite authors. I'm
told that I'm a good listener. I love and appreciate
all kinds of people and get particular joy attending
church services three times a week. I'm not a radical about my spiritual life but I derive a lot
of comfort from it. Politics and religion are not
subjects that I usually care to discuss. Lots of kinds
of music show up on my favorites list. I enjoy
stage musicals and plays. Our local Theatre group
is a huge favorite of mine,,,in all that they do.
I love Irish dancing, Irish Folk singing, and our
contemporary American clogging. Celine Dion, Charlotte Church, Lee Greenwood, Simon & Garfunkel,
and Gloria Estefan are a few of my favorite singers.
My Ideal Person
First, I would hope that she fits in pretty well with my thoughts shown above. My computer is a joy for me "most of the time". I've been in the learning stages for almost 8 years and I'm still a novice. I hope that she has a patient and optomistic frame of mind about life and living. Having personality problems with other people should, for the most part, be a NO-NO. Complaining about circumstances or people is not a productive behavior. I enjoy some travel, although driving is no longer a favorite thing for me. Group tours and cruises aboard ship are certainly in my plans these days. I enjoy a lot of movies but I no longer get motivated very often to go out to a movie theatre. Dining out is definitely one of my favorite things. I hope she enjoys laughing a lot.
