I am honest to a fault. Lies are senseless and I have a terrible memory anyway. I am just a lady from Alabama. I have been divorced for 12 years. I don't hold grudges, I just move on. Though they don't live with me, I am a doting mother and grandmother. A workaholic by nature and the rest of the time seems to be spent right here. I am not a maid. I cook by choice and I can cook! The "few extra pounds" are my testimony. Unfortunately, I was playing BINGO or something when the Good Lord passed out rythmn so I don't dance. I have two left feet. Yeah, I know, I'm a rare find. I like the rain, even walking in it. I hate snow and a snowball thrown at me will cost you a friendship. My favorite quote: Being alone doesn't mean you're lonely. I am not a fanatic but I do love my church. If you happen to be in Huntsville and looking for a church home, let me introduce to mine.
My Ideal Person
Admirable traits: Honesty, dependability, Christian but not fanatic, financially secure, good sense of humor, patience. He should want to have his "space" sometimes because I will want mine. I love to talk and would appreciate someone who can carry on a good conversation. An occasional debate is healthy as long as each respects the other's point of view. He should not be too "touchy feely" but must love to give and accept hugs and passionate kisses. He should believe in "friends first". I like men with old fashioned values. If he's into sports, that is okay. I know nothing of football so he should not mind my questions as I try to learn the game. Listening to my pastor today, I realize that I want somebody to be around to pick me up when I fall. I want to do the same. My partner must realize that we can grow in God together. A three-fold card, (me, you and God)is not easily broken.
