I'm usually the person at any gathering that has people laughing. Laughter is essential to my life, and I think the mark of a successful relationship is a couple's ability to make each other laugh, even to the point of getting downright silly. It's communication at its best.
When I'm not laughing, I enjoy stimulating, sometimes controversial, conversation. I love to share ideas, philosophies, and wisdoms. I enjoy looking at familiar things in new ways rather than simply accepting the status quo. I'm an insatiable reader, and my interests range from the simple (the backs of cereal boxes) to the sublime (there's a Grand Unified Theory?)!
I enjoy walking, particularly along the local trails, and I find that no matter how many times I walk the same trail, there's always something new to experience: sounds I'd never heard before, paths I hadn't discovered. I try to look at life in general this way. I don't believe in growing "old" and am always looking for new ways to sustain my vitality and my passions.
My Ideal Person
Ideally, you should have a positive, hopeful attitude and see each day as a chance to appreciate just living. Your needs should be simple, but you should be open to new experiences and challenges and not let your mind (or body) atrophy. I hope that you love the outdoors and that you love music -- and that you especially love music outdoors! If you like to dance, that's a plus; if you think you can't, are you willing to learn? to play? If you're affectionate and you spontaneously grab my hand or give me a quick kiss and hug in public (less quick in private), you will go a long way in satisfying my romantic nature.
I'd love to hear about the things that make you go, "Now this is heaven!"
