I'm a passionate baseball fan (Mets/Redsox), live on a small farm in the Appalachian Mountains with my , raise standard collies. Gardening, SEC football , home improvement, and especially READING are some of my many interests. I play guitar and piano, sing and compose gs, I am in reaably good health, active and busy. My entire life has been spent working in the medical field as a medical laboratory technologist.
A simple, healthy lifestyle is important to me, filled with outdoor activities, family, friends, and persuit of happiness. I want to add those things to my life that will promote contentment and satisfaction, removed those things from my life that cause disquiet and stress, and enjoy the gifts I've been given to the fullest.
My Ideal Person
Looking for a friend of above average intelligence, well informed, open minded. I don't have much in common with evangelical Christians or NASCAR fans, and have no use for fashion statements and the culture of celebrity. Would like to meet people with whom I can discuss world events, and also personal topics such as pets, family, etc. My life contains many of the things that I always dreamed it would, but sometimes they are not enough. There are long quiet hours when I miss a shoulder to lean on, a welcoming smile, the comfort of companionship. At an age where I've aquired some perspective, I remind myself that life is very short and precious, to be enriched, shared, and expanded. I am seeking a companion for living, a gentle and sensitive man who finds many occasions for laughter, knows the good stuff when he sees it, and is ready to share his life.
